Choosing our Manufacturer
We spent many months deciding who would be behind the creation of our designs coming to life. This took a lot of research and trials that ended in us learning a lot about the fashion industry. It is very important to us to educate others and understand that sometimes clothing that claims to be “Made in the US’ does not always mean they are using sustainable and/or ethical practices. We really dug in deep when it came to research and educated ourselves fully before moving forward in this process. Once we found our manufacturer we felt they were/are very aligned with our core values and they continue to exceed our expectations. Our core values being sustainability, ethics, and women empowerment, our manufacturer checks off each of these values and more. While we do our very best to be as sustainable as we can be, this is an industry where it is nearly impossible to be 100% sustainable. That being said, we are continuing to learn new innovative ways to work in this industry, reduce our carbon footprint, and pave the way for a better future. Our priority is to be transparent more than anything and we encourage all of our customers to ask questions and educate themselves as well.

About Our Manufacturer
At this women owned manufacturer all employees are paid over minimum wage, receive overtime and holiday pay, and have access to healthcare and retirement plans. Unlike many manufacturers in the fashion industry, our manufacturer provides good working conditions and regulates hours from Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. They use mostly sustainable fabrics that are sourced locally and also prioritize using non-toxic or plant dyes in their processes. They are continuing to pursue conscious efforts in order to offset their carbon emissions, and keep us updated with any new findings. They are not only a women owned brand, but the employees are 90% women and all employees come from different religious backgrounds and cultures. Our manufacturer prioritizes building a community of strong women who passionately play a role in making our designs come to life. We are so excited to have found them and continue to grow a connection with these amazing women.
